Overwatch 2
During my tenure at Blizzard Entertainment, prior to the 1900 person layoffs in 2024, I was a Senior Mission Designer II on the Overwatch 2 Events Team. The Events Team was responsible for the PvE Story Campaign, as well as one-off events. I was the leading designer for Cosmic Crisis, which is an eldritch horror PvPvE event, with a twist. I was also the design owner of AI Ecology “Spawn Theatre” which is another way of saying I helped make AI look good when they entered the game. This was helpful for the entire mission design team because they could pick from a drop-down menu for interesting spawns without worrying about it. Furthermore, I kept an up to date confluence page for tutorials, “the more you know”, and generally communicating changes to the rest of the team.
Cosmic Crisis - Season 9
Proprietary Blizzard Engine (TED)
Responsible for pitching, prototyping, and spear-heading the game direction on Cosmic Crisis. From conception to completion in 7 months, Cosmic Crisis features a co-op PvPvE game mode with a twist. I worked very closely with key members from the production, animation, and art departments to bring this mode to life, and I am very grateful that it will be released. This game mode featured skins available in the BattlePass of the season, providing a marketing showcase as well as a fun game mode.

Invasion - Mission Support

Responsible for mission support across all 3 story missions. I was the design owner of AI Ecology “Spawn Theatre”, which is present across all missions. Spawn Theatre helped every other mission designer plug and play different methods for AI to spawn with the ease of a dropdown menu. I also helped debug and ship all 3 missions, freeing up the mission owners to focus on fun!
